This past winter, I visited a nearby pond. The weather had been hovering around freezing for several days. As a result, the pond was partially frozen. There was a nice blue sky, so I put a polarizing filter on my lens to deepen the blue. When I pointed the camera into the water, I was very surprised to see various shapes and colors of ice. So I started shooting away.
When I got home, I used Photoshop to enhance the color and contrast a bit, to bring out what the camera had captured. This is a great example of the camera being able to “see” what the human eye cannot, to capture other realities.
