We visited Hungary and Romania during the summer of 2009, arrived in Budapest on June 21st and spent a few days touring that city.

On June 24th we took a 7 hour train ride to Cluj, Romania, located in the northwest Transylvanian area of the country. We picked up our rental car and spent a week exploring the countryside of Romania. The trip ended in the Romanian capital of Bucharest.
